See, there’s a critical mass in the homework load, when a certain procrastination/self-preservation instinct surfaces and whispers in a silky, sultry voice:

Hello again, dearest readers. The Curious Cockroach is indeed still alive, though the growing number of pest extermination websites following this blog is becoming somewhat alarming. I feel there was a bit of miscommunication somewhere.
I vow to be more present (online) this spring, and will share with you some of the writing I’ve been doing offline. But for now, here are some rad and random facts:
Carnivorous plants have been known to digest monkeys.
Clouds are a form of aerosol.
In French, “je suis ta femme” can either mean:
1) “I am your wife” or 2) “I am following your wife.”
If that doesn’t sum up la belle langue française, I don’t know what does.
